Shay Steacy

Shay is the founder of inBalance Financial Planning, a Canadian based independent financial planning practice. Never one to settle for the status quo, Shay left working for the big banks after 12 years, in an intentional shift to allow her to give the best advice she can to Candians in her demographic.

Through her paid-for advice and coaching model, she doesn’t sell financial products, but instead provides real, tangible help to others navigating the difficult world of personal or business finance. Her passion is helping people feel in control of their money, and she does this through Financial Life Coaching.

Shay’s unique perspective is not only expressed through her experience in the financial world, but also as a reflection of a lifestyle shift. Quickly realizing conventional house and condo living wasn’t for her, she now resides in a tiny house on wheels just outside of Ottawa. In the summer you’ll find her and her dog Bodhi water bound on a standup paddleboard, enjoying free time with friends, and advocating for sustainable living in an ever-evolving world.
