Small Home Community, Municipality of Chatham-Kent

ROSE LINSEMAN

Rose has an Undergraduate and Masters Degree in Architecture from the University of Waterloo.  She has worked in the areas of interior design, 3D rendering, urban design, green building design and high-end residential, institutional and commercial architectural design and construction for firms in Chatham, Toronto, Vancouver and Shanghai, China.  Owner of RAD Studio and Eco-Store (founded in September 2018) – an architectural design studio specializing in small and eco-friendly homes, Rose was retained by Opportunity Villages Community Land Trust as Project Manager.

KAREN KIRKWOOD-WHYTE

A graduate of Windsor Business College, Karen has worked in numerous sectors of the community – business, education, health care and social services.  From 1983 to 2018, she served as CEO for the United Way of Chatham-Kent.  Retiring in August of 2018, Karen was elected to Municipal Council and currently represents Ward Six.  An advocate for affordable housing and meeting the needs of residents facing numerous challenges, Karen provides clerical assistance to the Opportunity Villages Community Land Trust and serves as liaison with the local Municipality.
