Borrum Energy Solutions

Odilon Lemieux is a professional electrical engineer with over 30 years of experience in various industries including electricity generation. Married and father of three sons, Odilon is now a proud grandfather.

Odilon founded Borrum Energy Solutions in 2016 with the goal of designing microgeneration wind turbines and associated towers that can safely operate in the harsh Canadian weather.  Turbine and towers are designed at their Region of Waterloo’s office while 85% of all components are source or manufactured in Canada.

Odilon believes that providing the opportunity for dwelling owners to generate their own clean renewable energy to decrease natural gas emission and grid electricity cost is good for Canadians, important now and for future generations.

Presentation: Wind Energy 101

The seminar’s goals are to provide an overview of:

1) wind-based electricity from microgeneration wind turbines,

2) factors impacting wind generation,

3) microgeneration wind turbine and tower system.

At the end of the seminar, attendees will be in a better position to assess the viability of wind based clean renewable energy generation system for their tiny home; stand alone or complemented by solar panels.  A Q& A will follow.
