Municipal Conference Day

Of the 1.2 million people identified as in need of housing in Ontario, 67% or 800,000 fit the tiny home demographic. Tiny homes alone can’t fix the Ontario housing crisis, but they can be part of the solution. With many creative solutions to the housing crisis currently on the table and exciting developments in the home building industry, the Tiny Home Show has prepared a Conference Day focused on dialogue and discussion of tiny home opportunities in Ontario.

Making a space for tiny homes

Municipalities can use tiny homes as an opportunity to sustainably increase housing supply, grow their tax base, and boost the local economy. Tiny homes are already accommodated through the Ontario Building Code and ADU bylaws. Come see 15+ homes and other structures and meet with builders at the Tiny Home Show.
